I. PERSONAL DATA

The administrators of personal data obtained through the http://www.smithfield.pl/ website (hereinafter: the “Site“) are jointly the companies of the Smithfield Poland Group, bound by a joint administration agreement (hereinafter: the “Joint Administrators”). An excerpt from the agreement in question has been published at www.animex.pl and www.agriplus.pl (under “Personal Information”). It is these entities that determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

The Joint Administrators are concerned with protecting the personal data and privacy of visitors to the Site (hereinafter: “Users“). Personal data collected through the Site are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016. on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (“RODO“).

We are committed to ensuring that each User knows exactly how they can protect both their personal information and their privacy. In this regard, please read carefully the information below.

The User’s personal data is processed by the Joint Administrators for the purpose of:

  • to respond to an inquiry addressed to the Joint Administrators at the e-mail address located in the “Contact Us” tab – sending an inquiry is tantamount to the User’s consent to the processing of his/her data for the purpose of responding to such inquiry;
  • Implementation of obligations imposed on the Joint Administrators by law;
  • To ensure that the Site is properly displayed on the device used by the User, to adapt the content of the Site to the Users’ preferences and its continuous optimization, including with the use of the Google Analytics tool (legitimate purpose of the Joint Administrators);

 

The legal basis for the processing of the User’s personal data is respectively:

  • 6 paragraph. 1(a) of the DPA – in the case of directing an inquiry to the Joint Administrators at the e-mail address located in the “Contact Us” tab; providing contact data is completely voluntary, but necessary to respond to the User’s inquiry;
  • 6 paragraph. 1(c) RODO – to the extent that personal data is processed due to legal obligations;
  • 6(1)(f) RODO – to the extent that personal data is processed in order to ensure proper display of the Site on the device used by the User, adapt the content of the Site to the Users’ preferences and its continuous optimization, including with the use of the Google Analytics tool.

The recipients of the personal data provided by the User are suppliers of goods and services necessary for the implementation of the above. purposes and entities entrusted by the Joint Administrators with the processing of the User’s personal data.

In terms of processing your data for statistical purposes, the recipient of your data is Google Inc. based in the US.

Your personal data will be stored:

  • in the case of data processed on the basis of consent – until the User withdraws the consent given;
  • in the case of personal data processed for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations – until such obligations are fulfilled and for the period required by law;
  • in the case of personal data processed in connection with the legitimate interests of the Joint Administrators – until the fulfillment of the Joint Administrators’ legitimate interests forming the basis for such processing or until you object to such processing; in the case of data processed for statistical purposes using the Google Analytics tool, such data will be deleted after a maximum of 50 months.

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal) – in the case of processing of personal data on the basis of consent, as well as the right to access their content, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and the right to object to processing. The user also has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

II. COOKIES

In order to ensure proper operation and display of the Site on the device used by the User, to adapt the content of the Site to the Users’ preferences and its continuous optimization, as well as to ensure the continuity of the User’s session (Article 6(1)(f) RODO), the Site uses cookies.

Cookies are small files stored on the User’s computer that store settings and other information related to the User’s use of the Co-Administrators’ Site. Cookies allow us to recognize the basic parameters of the User’s device and thus display the Site accordingly. They are also necessary to ensure the continuity of the User’s session.

Cookies collect m. in. the following data related to the User’s use of the Site: type of browser used, operating system used, URL of the page visited earlier, time of sending the request to the server, IP address of the computer.
